This lovely couple was such a pleasure to work with. They were open to all of my ideas and they made suggestions for shots as well, which is always fun when you can collaborate. This mom-to-be is 35 weeks pregnant and the gender of their baby is a surprise.
I met with them on Saturday at Lakeview Park in Oshawa for their maternity portraits and the lighting was absolutely perfect.

Yesterday I did my first Fresh 48 session, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. Little Freya was born yesterday at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa in the early afternoon. I was able to visit in the hospital that evening to take these portraits when she was just a few hours old. This sweet little belle was born at 8lb1oz, yet she seemed so tiny! I just love her head full of hair and her dreamy eyelashes. Congratulations Jessica and Abel! She’s beautiful.

I met with Paige and Tyler this past Saturday for a mini engagement session. It was super windy and cold out, but we were excited that it’s finally spring. Paige and Tyler are such a fun and bubbly couple to work with. I am so excited that they chose me as their wedding photographer for this Summer.
Jenna and TJ’s wedding took place at the Ajax Convention Centre. I had the wonderful opportunity to work as second shooter for another local photographer again and really enjoyed it. This little lady is actually my own newborn baby. Her name is Adria and she was born on November 11th. I did her portraits over the span of a few days when she was 7-10 days old, but I just got the chance to edit them recently since having a toddler and a newborn keeps me super busy! She is such a joy to have and I’m so happy to share these images with everyone from my personal family collection.
IÂ had 5 lovely families come out recently for our first ever annual Fall Family Mini Sessions. It was a HUGE success and I had a lot of fun working with so many amazing clients (and their dogs!) that day. Despite it being fall, it was actually extremely hot out but I brought plenty of water to get me through. I am already looking forward to next year’s Fall Family Mini Sessions! Thanks so much to everyone who came out.
Kayla and Sam are expecting a baby in December, and it’s a girl! Their maternity portraits were taken at Lakeview Park in Oshawa on a rainy and cold day. We were luckily still able to continue the portrait session, and when the rain picked up there were plenty of gazebos and covered porches we were able to use. Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your baby girl, Kayla and Sam!
Debra and Dave exchanged marriage vows this past Saturday (October 11th) at St.Mark’s United Church in Whitby, Ontario. The whole day had such a happy feel to it and it was so beautiful to see how often the two made each other laugh and smile. I’m sure you can tell from the photos that they are a fun and playful couple; it was even the bride’s idea to incorporate the playground equipment! The portraits were taken at the Whitby Rotary Centennial Park and it was such a beautiful day. The wedding was very family oriented and the wedding party consisted of the couple’s siblings, children, and grand children.
Congratulations Debra and Dave! It was a lot of fun working with you both and I wish you all the happiness that marriage brings. Thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day.

I recently got to have the experience of working as second shooter for another local photographer, and I was very excited that I was told I could post some of the images I took as well.
