Danielle and Matt are expecting their first baby (a girl!) in October. I met the two of them Friday evening at Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens for their maternity portraits and they were very easy-going and laid back the whole session. Baby Elizabeth is going to be one good looking little lady, that’s for sure!
Lauren and Zac’s Wedding
Lauren and Zac exchanged wedding vows this past Saturday in Port Perry, Ontario. They planned a sweet rustic wedding that featured burlap, lace, and bright sun flowers. The wedding was decorated by Token of Love Weddings and they did an amazing job with everything, which made the wedding so beautiful. The whole day had a fun and humorous atmosphere, with comedic vows, funny wedding party portraits, and hilarious speeches at dinner. It rained heavily most of the day, which meant their ceremony had to be brought indoors, but it was still picture perfect. There was a gazebo at a park just around the corner, so we were luckily still able to take the portraits outside without anyone getting very wet. At least the rain is said to bring good luck! Congratulations Zac and Lauren!! We had a wonderful time capturing your wedding.

Nursing Session
Little Anderson is coming to the end of his breastfeeding journey and his mom, Amanda, wanted something special to remember this wonderful bonding experience she currently has with her little guy. It was perfect timing too, because World Breastfeeding Week 2014 just came to an end. She asked me to take these photos of her nursing her son and I’m so glad she did because I really support and advocate for breastfeeding. Breast milk is such an amazing gift that a mother can give her child!
Maternity – Kimberley and Danny
Kimberley and Danny are expecting their first baby this fall, due on October 1st. The sex of their baby is a surprise for friends and family and I’m sure everyone is super excited to find out if they are having a baby girl or a baby boy. I met the couple yesterday evening for their maternity portrait session at a quiet beach in Oshawa. I’m looking forward to hopefully doing their newborn portraits too, as long as my baby isn’t too early and theirs isn’t too late! I’m due just one month after Kimberley.
Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your first little monkey!
James and Shelley’s Wedding
James and Shelley had an intimate outdoor ceremony and indoor reception on Saturday in Hampton. The weather was raining just enough to bring them good luck, but since I was prepared with rain covers for the cameras, it luckily didn’t interfere with being able to have their outdoor ceremony and outdoor portraits since it was just light rain. The heavy rain even held off until everyone was at the reception.
Shelley looked absolutely stunning in her timeless and vintage inspired attire! The day sailed smoothly and everyone was such a pleasure to work with. Many congratulations Shelley and James! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

The Henderson Family
Yesterday I met with the Henderson family for their family portraits. The weather was calling for possible rain, but luckily it held up and it ended up being a beautiful evening. Their daughter Milaya was so sweet and patient the whole time, and full of smiles. It was great working with them!
Amber and Andrew’s Wedding
Amber and Andrew exchanged vows at Islington United Church in Toronto with a beautiful traditional ceremony. Their reception was held at Premier Place Banquet Hall in Vaughan. The weather was hot, but it was a beautiful day. Congratulations Amber and Andrew! It was a pleasure working with you both and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Madison and Kyle
Madison and Kyle’s couple’s portrait session was taken at Lynde Shores in Whitby, and continued at a waterfront in Oshawa. I loved their wardrobe choices! Madison is also a photographer, and she has done work for me too several times before.
Engagement – Shelley and James
Shelley and James were a lot of fun to work with. They made each other laugh so easily, were willing to try out all of my ideas, and they went right into the water for some shots which was even the bride-to-be’s idea! I’m looking forward to capturing their wedding!
Maternity – Jaclyn and Brandon
I did these maternity portraits on Saturday morning at a quiet waterfront in Oshawa. This lovely couple is expecting their first baby, which is a girl, in July.
